Craps

Craps is no doubt the most exciting online casino game. From the suspense that you get when you have thrown the dice to the dealer shouting and yelling the famous “winner chicken dinner” saying, this games will by far provide you the thrill that you will want while at the online casino website. It is no wonder why it gets so many people around the various tables where it is being played.

The game of craps can trace back its roots back to the ancient Egypt from around 2600 BC. It was here where the first dice games were played before spreading out to other kingdoms such as the Roman Empire and later in England. It is from England that the game spread to France and later on to America where the English and French settlers introduced it. It is in the 19th century that John H. Winn converted the game to its present format. He later on designed the layout of the craps table and also invented the Big 6, Big 8 and pass and don’t pass bets. To crown it all, John put an end to the use of the crooked dice and came up with the modern dice that we are currently using.

Playing the game

In every game that you will be playing, you will be required to roll the dice that you will be provided at the table. Since you are playing from a computer, you will have to click on the button that is indicated “roll” in most of the online casino websites. Each of the initial roll that you will make is usually referred to as the come out roll. The first bets that are usually possible during this first roll is the Don’t pass and Pass lines – where you will have to place a minimum table bet for you to establish your participation. In the event that you are playing the game with many other players, each and every other player will be required to roll the dice.

Once everyone is done with rolling the dice, the come out roll will either win, lose or choose the point. In a situation that 2, 3 or 12 is rolled, all the bets that will be on the Don’t Pass line win. If the outcome of the roll is 7 or 11, all the bets that are on the pass line win. Any other outcomes will usually result in a point being selected; the point then allows for extra bets and hence further winning results for the line bets. Craps strategy

When you play Craps, the best strategy is to place bets that have a very low house edge. This usually increase the chances of you winning the craps game. Before the COR, the bet is usually the pass line that is usually the easiest bet to place in the game. Following the COR, the odds bets will also be below the 1% house edge. Actually, 100X odds bet will usually have a house edge of 0.021%. You can also try the Martingale system that usually works by choosing the lowest original bet on an option that will have a low house edge (an example is the Pass line). In the event that you lose the first bet, you will place the bet again but this time round you will have to double it up. This will usually be aimed at negating the loss of the previous bets and making it all even.
